In Critical State is about the current
political climate in the Netherlands, the country where the Dutch artist is
working and living.
In contradiction to the open and
relative safe Dutch culture we see foreign artist on barricades against oppression
or an unwanted political, financial situation, although it seems. The theory:
more oppression, political instability or environmental unsafely leads to
heavier protest (in art). How do we 'Dutch artist' relate to that?
